I had to scan some documents and on my scanner there was my wrench set. 

I lifted the wrench set and then CLING! CLANG! CLING! All of the wrenches fell all over my desk. It was loud as crap. 

The cats were sleeping near me and as soon as those wrenches fell I saw none of them around. They all seriously must of teleported out, I didn’t see any of them run out, nothing but shaking blinds and a spinning chair. I have never seen my cats run that fast. 

I had a good laugh afterward. Kitty has already returned to the desk and is sleeping next to me.

Pile of wrenches:

I hate cables, they are everywhere and get dragged around with my chair. They also don’t look pretty, or cool, or neat. So what do you do? You manage those cables. 

I was sitting at my desk doing my coding work and I kept kicking around the cables, so I thought, “I HATE YOU CABLES!” 

I sat and thought, then I saw some zip ties my girlfriend bought me many moons ago and saw a cup of tacks. It was my A-HA! Moment!

It may not be the best solution but it works. I think if you have velcro straps, those would work better than the zip ties. 

Hope that helps someone out. I’m sure you can get a box of tacs and zip ties for like $2 at the dollar store.
