I can’t believe I never mentioned this, but I updated my portfolio like earlier this month! Yeah, delayed a bit but that’s alright.

Right now I am getting the copy of the portfolio betterized so that I don’t sound like the weirdo that I am.

I really am satisfied with this. I think there are some things I will refine in the future and probably add a bit more stuff to it, such as logos that I have done. I also am thinking about seriously adding music to it but I don’t know if I will do that, I am not really that awesome.

In case you are wondering about why I did it the way I did, well…I really wanted to go with simplicity. I know it’s pretty plain but I like that. You can say that the site has a minimalist feel to it, but the textured background adds something to it.

The site also was created with no design in mind really, I just went with what happened. So there is no PSD or anything really that says what I wanted the site to look like, I just kinda felt it out. I tend to find that the designs I just do always turn out better than the ones I design (for personal projects that is).

The site also has a little grid system that I made for it that I will be able to use where ever I feel like. If you have an interest in that sort of thing you can see my grid system.

I am going to be working on a jingle for The Just Humorous Podcast so if that is awesome I guess maybe I can work on doing audio work also? I don’t know, just typing out loud.

I made this brush set while I was drawing a new logo. I really liked how the smudges looked on paper so I did my best to recreate them.

It took some elbow grease and I am quite proud of what I made here.

I plan on making a new brush set soon. Not sure of what, but I bet I will come up with something useful. I hate useless brush sets.

I must say the brushes arent small and are pretty huge. They also add some texture around them which makes them more believable IMO. Please, if you use the set I would love to see what you used it in.

So I remade the “I’m Happy” drawing I did the other day.

I plan on making shirts of this. What do you think?
