YES!

So, my site got added to this awesome inspiration site called One Page Love who features sites that are contained on one page.

I just thought I would share this awesome moment.

Happy thanksgiving! Ate two thanksgiving dinners and that is intense.

What also is intense is the storm that came. Me being the weirdo I am decided to take pics of the lightning with my iPhone.

Here are the results:

You should know by now that I am pretty good at spreading myself thin. I often find myself involved into too many projects.  I just can’t seem to settle with one thing and go with it. I also am very bad with personal deadlines, but am pretty damn good with deadlines for clients and work related deadlines.

If you don’t know I have 3 websites that I guess you could say I update when I can. Those sites are Hmmburger, My Portfolio and Zamikazi. I write articles on all but one, but only one of these sites has a definite goal. That site is my Portfolio. The other two sites really have nothing specific going from them…I’ll explain if you are slightly interested.

Hmmburger (hmmburger.com)

Hmmburger is the new Zamikazi if you look at the history of my websites. Hmmburger did well for a while and now it pretty much offers no real agenda or no post schedule. There used to be a forum, but that pretty much died over time.

Things Hmmburger writes about:

• Stupid ideas
• Movie/Music Reviews
• Random Nonsense

As you can see there is no real set idea there. I guess you can say entertainment.

Zamikazi

You are reading Zamikazi, which used to be a site where I would post anything I made or something or another. Now I really am a trying to sort things out.

What Zamikazi provides:

• Personal blabberings (such as this)
• Ideas
• Artwork
• Music from Exit 134
• Anything I make
• Projects
• Wallpapers
• Brushes

I really have a lot going here.

My Portfolio (mynameisvince.com)

My portfolio serves one purpose. That purpose is to win clients over and make some extra money while I work a fulltime job. In the hopes to make enough to get out of bad debt.

What I would like to do is turn my portfolio into a design blog, it’s all the CRAZE!

But why!?

Mainly for exposure.  I also would like to continue to make brushes and resources for other designers. It would be great to share my ideas, techniques, opinions and what not on the design community. I guess I want to be a voice in the community instead of just another designer, I think I would rather be another designer WITH A BLOG.

It would also add some personality to my portfolio instead of being a static page. Now I ask myself, would the blog be the front page or would the front page be my actual work?

NOW WHAT?!

Does that mean another blog for me to maintain? Yes.

Will I maintain it? I would like to think so.

Should I do it? I don’t know.

*sigh*

I think I will know by the end of the week. But I can tell you this…
